This Mercedes-Benz 300 S Cabriolet is among the world's most exclusive post‑war automobiles. The 300 S was produced in limited numbers: 760 of the 300 S/Sc, of which 203/49 were cabriolets. It was offered for sale by the family of the late Portuguese diplomat Afonso Henriques da Fonseca de Azeredo Malheiro. The car is mostly original, aside from a simple outside respray, with a patinated interior that is fully complete and including the original Becker Nurburg radio.
