Jaguar XK150 FHC 3.8\n\nIn 2014 we received a request to find a Jaguar XK150 coupe for a client and then completely restore it to concours condition. It had to be an automatic and we found a suitable example from 1960, so with the heavier 3.8 liter engine which was nice for an automatic transmission.\n\nNo expense was spared. After dismantling the entire car, the body was presented to the autobeitserij for de-painting, rust removal, and a ktl cold galvanizing treatment. Except for a small piece on top of the right front fender, the entire body turned out to be rust and damage free and thus a perfect base. This body was very professionally treated and then sprayed in beautiful Indigo blue paintwork where much attention was paid to the gaps of the various panels.\n\nThe chassis was also thoroughly treated. It was sandblasted, epoxied and primed and then painted black. All technology was overhauled or renewed. The engine was overhauled and upgraded by Vos in Sliedrecht and the gearbox was completely overhauled by Abraham Sluyter in Rotterdam.\n\nAfter body and chassis were reassembled the entire car was rebuilt by us with every conceivable upgrade installed. Electric power steering, aluminum radiator, alternator, stainless steel exhaust, 123 ignition, bucket seats, burr walnut dashboard, Evans coolant etc. the entire interior was custom built at a leading dutch upholsterer using the finest materials. The entire process is substantiated with a file of photos and bills. In November 2022 the Jaguar was sold by us to the second owner who has not used it often.\n\nOn behalf of this owner, we may now offer it for sale again.
